![]() Robert F. McCauley, Jr. was raised in Lansing , Michigan , attended Michigan State University (BA, 1980 in Journalism) and worked for several years in New York City at the prestigious law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. He has traveled extensively, both domestically and abroad, visiting over 32 countries, including India, Korea, France and Israel where he spent significant time. He published Confessions of a Body Builder: Rejuvenating the Body with Spirulina, Chlorella, Raw Foods and Ionized Water in 2000 and Achieving Great Health in 2005. From 2002-2004 he hosted a radio Program called Achieving Great Health, which was heard by thousands of people each day. It was the first health radio program of its kind, one that promoted natural health in every way and how the body is capable of healing itself of any disease. His guests on the show have included, Peter Ragnar, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, MD, Viktoras Kulvinskas, Dr. Udo Erasmus, Dr. F. Batmangalij, David Wolfe, Jack Lalane, Patricia Bragg and many others in the Raw Food and Natural Health movement. Robert also gives frequent lectures and offers seminars on his natural health protocol. With the help of his father, Dr. Robert F. McCauley, Sr. (Doctorate; Environmental Engineering, 1953) they started Spartan Water Company in 1992, which sold vended water machines in supermarkets. Robert founded Spartan Enterprises, Inc. in 1993 and began bottling Michigan's best artesian water under the label Michigan Mineral - Premium Natural Water, which was sold throughout the Lansing and Detroit areas. He founded the Watershed, Lansing 's first bottled-water store, in 1995. Now known as The Watershed Wellness Center which the company is the North American importer of Gold Fox Water Ionizers. It is also the North American importer of Chlorella produced by the Taiwan Chlorella Manufacturing Co . which is the world's largest Chlorella Pyrenoidosa producer. It is sold under the name of Watershed Chlorella. It is one of the largest sellers of Spirulina as well. He is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Certified Instructor of Songahm Taekwondo (American Taekwondo Association).
